Our children love Halloween!
Then again, who doesn't love a holiday when you
get candy for dressing up in a cute costume?
This year we had a zombie:
a skeleton:
and an Alice from Wonderland:
This was the first year the boys were 'scary'.
I wasn't to hip on the idea,
but I have to admit getting creative with their make-up
was pretty fun!
There were lots of festivities going on at their school,
including a parade & carnival.
The boys are getting pretty self sufficient in their old age-ha ha!
All I had to do was send a treat in to their classes.
I am so glad I have my little M to still 'room mom' for.
We had a great time in her class doing crafts, getting our fortunes told,
playing bingo, feeling 'parts' of monsters & eating yummy goodies!
It was an early release day for the elementary school,
which was so nice!
After the carnival we headed home for some R&R.
That evening we had a few families over for pizza
& trick-or-treating.
Here we have Jake of the Neverland Pirates, a darling Witch, Minnie Mouse,
Merida from Brave, Alice of Wonderland, a Punk Rocker,
a Grecian Goddess, JoJo the Clown & an Egyptian Princess.
Love this fun holiday!
P.S. As if my buddy Amy couldn't get any cooler-that is her
high school cheer uniform she is rocking!
Love that lady!
