April was crazy,
& May seems to be following suit!
There have been field trips,
soccer games, baseball games & practices,
dance, scouts, and lots of spring fever
that makes focusing on the last
few weeks of school very difficult.
"BUT MOM! We can't come in for
dinner & bed-It's still light outside!!!"
So here's a few randoms:
Notice anything different?
No, it's not the armpit hair he is so desperately wishing will grow in!
T is now the 2nd member of our household to be in contacts!
I was in 5th grade too when I got glasses.
We went to the Dr. on Tuesday & they had him wearing the contacts that day!
(Much better then waiting until your a SOPHOMORE like me!)
We have some cute blue glasses ordered and they should be here Monday.
They are Nike so that appeased T.
B raced in the District Pinewood Derby.
It was a much better year then last year!
(He lost both in a row & was done-and heartbroken)
He raced and won 2, lost 1, won 1, and then lost out.
We figured he took about 5th out of 12 boys.
Love the graphite all over his face in this pic!
Can you guess who was the "photographer " for the night?
His car had a crocodile skin in it.
They sound like a really easy & cool way to decorate your car,
but it was pretty hard to work with.
He is already planning next years car!
T and his Buddy J participated in the school science fair.
They did an experiment using power bands.
It was really fun, & they did a great job.
We went to the car show at the park last saturday.
We haven't been for a few years, and the kids really liked it.
We found an old, restored Packard!
It was so awesome!
The highlight was seeing (and getting to sit inside)
"Bumblebee"
The boys thought they had died and gone to heaven!
T told us "It's all about the car Mom!
If you get the right car the girls will come!"
We are in so much trouble! Hee he!
Cardboard bithday banners I've been making for Forget Me Knot Floral
M continues to love preschool!
She has such a cute class.
Next week is kindergarten registration!
I'm really wigging out about it!
She has to get her immunizations,
so I have a little 'girls day' planned for next week.
T has a double header today so I will post those tonight,
and smile beacuse at least 1 thing in my life is caught up!
Happy Saturday!
